Density of owl's feathers

Hello everyone!

It snowed a lot yesterday!
The snow on the sidewalks in Harajuku was enough to make a small snowman!

The big owls were so interested in the snow that they stuck to the windowsill all day long.
I made some new friends for them to feel the season, but...

The owls, who don't like the cold, were watching and pecking at the owls from a distance.

Most of the owls in our home are from warmer climates (there were born in Chiba, lol).
They seem to be weak against the cold since they are 『Hakoiri』


In comparison, Toutu, a Snowy Owl who came to stay with us the other day, doesn't seem to mind the cold at all!
After all, his English name is "Snowy Owl"!

Owls from cold climates have fluffy feathers on their feet to protect them from the cold, and the density of the feathers on their bodies is completely different.
You might be shocked at how hard they are when you pet them⁉
Even though they are the same white owl, they are the complete opposite of the fluffy Prince.
